The Nurts Day 2026 at Publika: A Family Weekend of Play, Learning, and Connection in Kuala Lumpur

The Nurts Day 2026 at Publika: A Family Weekend of Play, Learning, and Connection in Kuala Lumpur

This year, The Nurts Day 2026 expands to two cities — Publika, Kuala Lumpur and PARC, Subang Jaya, transforming both locations into vibrant spaces filled with family bonding, playful learning, and meaningful shared experiences.

At Publika, The Nurts Day brought together thousands of families across the Klang Valley, offering more than just an event, it became a space where parents and children could slow down, connect, and enjoy a full day of purposeful play.

This year’s edition introduced new highlights across both cities, featuring fresh activities, partner experiences, and thoughtfully designed spaces that bring learning through play to life.

Bringing Everyday Learning to Life Through The Nurts Mart

One of the biggest highlights of The Nurts Day 2026 was the introduction of The Nurts Mart, a brand-new interactive experience designed to transform the concept of goodie bags into something more meaningful and educational.

Instead of simply receiving pre-packed items, children were invited into a mini “grocery world” where they could experience shopping, decision-making, and exploration in a guided, playful environment.

This hands-on experience allowed children to engage with real-life concepts in a safe and fun environment. What made it even more special was the involvement of parents, who joined in the process, turning the activity into a shared family moment.

The Nurts Mart reflects the core philosophy of The Nurts that some of the most valuable learning happens through everyday life experiences. By turning a familiar activity like grocery shopping into a game, children were able to build confidence, independence, and problem-solving skills in a natural way.

Interactive Brand Activations and Learning Experiences

The Nurts Day 2026 was made possible through the support of our amazing partners, who brought interactive and meaningful experiences for families throughout the venue.

Each booth was designed not just for entertainment, but to spark curiosity, awareness, and engagement between parents and children.

Key partner activations included:

At MOG Eyewear, families were able to enjoy a free eye check for children, supported by professional consultation. The experience was designed to make eye health more approachable, helping both parents and children understand the importance of vision care in a friendly and engaging setting.

At Subang Jaya Medical Centre (SJMC), children stepped into the role of young doctors through interactive role-play activities. Families explored basic human anatomy and health awareness in a fun, educational environment that made learning about the body both simple and memorable.

Dutch Lady brought nutrition-focused play experiences, including puzzles and interactive learning activities that helped children understand healthy eating habits. Families also enjoyed free milk sampling as part of the experience, reinforcing the importance of balanced nutrition in everyday life.

At CARiNG Pharmacy, the activation introduced families to wellness and self-care concepts through engaging activities such as “suku-suku separuh” (balanced meal understanding). It offered a simple and practical way for children to learn about nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices.

Applecrumby created playful, interactive touchpoints that focused on parenting essentials through hands-on activities, including sensory play and bubble-themed experiences that encouraged exploration, creativity, and parent-child bonding.

The Treasure Map Adventure and Redemption Experience

Another highlight of The Nurts Day 2026 at Publika was the Treasure Map Challenge, an interactive activity designed to encourage exploration across all zones.

Families were given a map and guided through different stations, completing simple tasks and collecting stickers along the way. Each completed challenge brought participants closer to unlocking rewards at the end of their journey.

This experience turned the entire venue into an interactive discovery space where families were not just visitors, but active participants.

The Nurts Studio: Exclusive Workshops at Publika

For families seeking more structured and guided learning, The Nurts Studio offered an exclusive workshop space at Publika.

Unlike open-play zones, The Nurts Studio focused on curated, seated, and facilitator-led sessions designed to deepen learning experiences through creativity, science, and hands-on exploration.

Workshops included:

The Nurts Studio provided a calm and focused environment where children could explore ideas more deeply while still engaging in playful, hands-on learning.

It also allowed parents to participate alongside their children, strengthening family connection through shared discovery.

A Weekend Built on Family Connection and Meaningful Play

Beyond the individual activities and attractions, what truly defined The Nurts Day 2026 at Publika was the atmosphere it created. Thank you Publika and UEM Sunrise for hosting us at The Nurts Day, Publika edition!

Throughout the weekend, families were seen spending hours together: exploring zones, participating in activities, and simply enjoying each other’s company.

One of the most powerful aspects of the event was how naturally connection happened. Children made new friends while playing. Parents exchanged stories and parenting experiences. Families lingered longer than expected, not because of schedules, but because they felt comfortable and present in the space.

The event also brought together volunteers, educators, local businesses, and partners who shared a common belief: that play, creativity, and connection are essential to a child’s growth and development.

Rather than a structured itinerary, The Nurts Day became a living environment of shared experiences where learning happened naturally through interaction, curiosity, and joy.

The Nurts Day 2026 Continues at PARC, Subang Jaya

If you missed The Nurts Day at Publika, there is still another opportunity to experience it.

The Nurts Day 2026 continues at PARC, Subang Jaya on 18–19 July 2026.

Families can look forward to more interactive zones, partner activations, hands-on learning experiences, and meaningful moments designed for both children and parents.

The upcoming PARC edition will continue the same vision: creating a space where families can slow down, reconnect, and learn through play.

Can't wait to see you, there!
