General Event Information
Is The Nurts Great Race FREE?
Yes! Entry to The Nurts Great Race is FREE. Families can enjoy Sports Discovery, House Challenges, Family Wellness & Activities and more. Registration is required for all attendees.
What is the Great Race Premium Pass?
It's an optional paid upgrade that unlocks the Active Play Arena, exclusive Search Party Mission, official jersey, completion medal, sports kit, Rewards Hub goodies and other Premium benefits.
Can parents accompany their children?
Parents can accompany their children at the event for FREE. Access inside the Arena challenge course is subject to the event's safety and operating rules, Category A (90cm - 119cm) allows up to 1 guardian inside the arena to support the child.
What age group is this event for?
The event is open to all ages and families are welcome. Entry is FREE.
Do I need to pre-register or can I walk in on the event day?
Yes, please register for you and your family prior to the event for fast lane entry. Otherwise, you will be prompted to register if you walk in on the event day.
Can I buy the Great Race Premium Pass on the event day?
Only 550 Great Race Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we strongly recommend securing yours online early. Walk-in purchases at the Active Play Arena or Registration counter depend on remaining availability on the day.
What time should we arrive?
The event starts at 9:30AM, do head to the registration counter (closest to the main entrance near the playground) to get your wristbands. Only families with wristbands can participate in the activities.
Is there parking bays available at the location?
A: Yes, both outdoor and basement parking available at the venue.
How do I participate at The Nurts Mart?
The Nurts Mart is an exclusive experience. Once you have gotten your Great Race Premium Pass, you will receive a Nurts bag and you may collect your goodies at The Nurts Mart anytime from 9:30AM to 6.30PM.
Any food available that is kid friendly?
Yes, we have F&B partners and there will be food available. If your child needs specific requirement please bring your own food
What happens when it rains?
Majority of our activities are covered and indoors except those on the field. Active Play Arena is located on Level 2.
Are pets allowed?
A: No pets allowed at this event.
What should my children wear?
A: Comfortable attire and sports shoes are encouraged for safety.
Is protective gear required?
No additional gear is needed, but event marshals will guide and ensure safe play throughout.

My child is below 90cm. Can they purchase the Premium Pass?
The Active Play Arena has a minimum height requirement of 90cm for safety reasons. Children below 90cm are welcome to join the FREE festival and participate in suitable activities, but the Premium Pass is not recommended for them.
Does purchasing the Premium Pass include FREE event registration?
No, you will still need to register at our registration counter located next to the Playground (Level 1) or Outside the Active Play Arena (Level 2) in order to get your Passport and House Challenge Wristbands.
What time can I enter the Active Play Arena?
The Active Play Arena is open from 10AM to 6PM, and last entry is at 6PM. Your child can race anytime during these hours. Each pass is valid for one race entry only.
Is the Great Race Premium Pass refundable?
Great Race Passes are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
Can I buy the Great Race Premium Pass on the event day?

Can siblings share a pass?
No, each child needs their own Great Race Pass to participate.
I bought the pass but can't attend. Can I still collect my jersey and race kit?
Yes. You can collect your jersey and race kit from our HQ at Wisma BU 8, Bandar Utama during office hours, within 7 days after the event. Please email hello@thenurts.com to arrange an appointment, and include your Order ID, name, email address and contact number. Please note that on-the-day experiences can't be redeemed after the event. These include the Active Play Arena race, the Search Party Mission, the Premium Nurts Mart Bag and the 10% discount.
Do I need to select Category A or B when buying the Pass?
No. There is only one Premium Pass. Your child's Arena category will be determined through height verification at the event.
I bought the wrong category pass for my child. Can I change it?
Yes. Please email hello@thenurts.com with the subject line "Great Race Pass Category Change – Order ID: [your Order ID]" and we'll help you update it.
Who can join the Active Play Arena?
The Active Play Arena is open to kids aged 12 and below with a minimum height of 90cm. For safety, race zones are grouped by height:
- Category A: 90–119cm
- Category B: 120cm and above (up to 12 years old)
How long does the race take?
The race takes about 20–30 minutes on average, depending on your child's pace. Each child can complete the race once. Every station has its own counter, so if your child needs a break, just let one of our event marshals know.
Are there prizes for winners?
Every child who completes the race earns an official Completion Medal. We'll also announce the Top 20 racers by 10th December, so join our WhatsApp Community to stay updated.
Can parents accompany their kids on the race course?
For Category A, one adult may accompany each child on the course. All other parents and guardians must stay in the designated viewing area so they're close by for supervision.
What if my child doesn't meet the height requirement?
For safety reasons, children under 90cm can't take part in the Active Play Arena. Our marshals may check heights and assign categories on the day, so please make sure your child is in the right category before purchasing.
